Mine runs and starts well bouncing from 1-5 (mostly 2-3) so I just leave it alone for now. WebJun 10, 2016 · Just got my 72' running after fixing some fried wiring. Got new fitech mean street with tanks inc tank installed and running. I cannot get it dialed in. Idle is surging and pops when I gun it. I can't get my dashboard to read between 6-10 IAC steps. I make the smallest adjustment to the idle screw and it jumps from 0 to 20-36 steps. WebMay 17, 2016 · Simply shut the vehicle off and turn the idle adjustment screw in about a half turn to start with, then turn the key on and check TPS and make sure it reads zero. Once thats done start the vehicle and wait for the IAC steps to zero, after they go to zero slowly turn the adjustment screw counter-clockwise until the number reads between 3-10 steady.
