WebIon Shell. Ion is a modern system shell that is written entirely in Rust, features a simple (and powerful) syntax, and offers performance that exceeds the level of Dash. While it is developed alongside RedoxOS as the default shell for RedoxOS, it is equally supported on UNIX platforms (Linux/Mac/BSDs), on which it is developed and tested. Webion-mode Emacs major mode for scripting with the ion-shell. Installation You can download this package from github and put it in your load path, then use (require ion-mode). If you want to automatically active ion-mode, you would need to modify auto-mode-alist to your init.el. A full manual installation might look like:
