WebThe lowest half-walls would work for the same function. Or as others have suggested, go out from the stairs one tile, and then go around. With slightly higher half-walls, you may even be able to get smaller windows in them to mimic a fence-like appearance. Or just use halfwalls at the corners/ends and the fence in the middle bits. WebThe basic rule is that one Sim can go up a staircase while another is going down it. The player can increase the number of Sims that can use a staircase at one time by placing staircases side-by-side. Staircases placed side-by-side will automatically connect, making a wider staircase.

You can find them in Build Mode -> Walls -> there should be a tab with this shorter wall looking thing and there should be a collection of half walls available for use. WebI’d like to know if removing one side of a stair railing is a feature that’s going to be added at some point. As a player focused on the build mode of the game I find this a constant annoyance and I am often stuck with changing design plans. I’ve attached a picture showing when double railings wouldn’t make sense.
WebWhat you can do is shorten the roof, click shift, and take in just one side of the roof's eaves (depending on what type of roof it is. Then, you can make a second roof and shorten it to 1 blocks length, then the rest of the roofs width, and tke in all of the eaves. Leave the eave texture alone, so it's thin and won't clip with the walls.
